About Us

Petite Paws was established in 2006 and is situated on a picturesque 10 acre lifestyle block in the beautiful Mystery Creek area.

Owner and Manager Anna Campbell, has over 40 years knowledge and experience owning and breeding dogs along with a small staff of skilled dog loving helpers.

All our staff are pup parents and all dogs are treated as if they are part of our family during their play or stay with us.

Our Team

Anna

Pack leader and mostly front of house plus meet and greet. She is the tiny tots specialist and also enjoys working with anxious types and seeing them grow and develop into happy dogs excited to come to Petite Paws. Being a dog owner since she was a teen Anna has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Eleanor

Mostly with our terriers and taller types making sure they are having fun and getting well exercised. Elly has been working at Petite Paws for several years and is very skilled in all areas of animal management and is the boss when Anna gets a break. She is also on admin and emails so you will mostly be talking to her with email bookings etc.

Jasmin

Is our chief cuddler and is great with shy and nervous types. She can also manage all the other pup personalities and is in charge when Anna and Elly manage to get time off together. Jasmin is also great on remembering all the pups names! We are lucky to have her help out between her uni studies.

Greer

Is our best ball thrower and is very popular with all the pooch groups. She is a dedicated animal carer and helps with her Mums rescue dogs and cats. She has adopted a 3 legged dog herself. Greer is gaining qualifications to be a Vet Nurse and we are very pleased she is able to work with us as well.

Ashleigh

Is our all rounder who is happy to hang out with any of our groups and has plenty of dog handling experience especially as her mum is our dog groomer. Ashleigh is also a pup parent and has grown up with all sorts of breeds. Ashleigh is also studying to be a large animal vet tech.

Our Story

The idea of a specialist small dog boarding facility was developed as Anna is a small dog owner herself and understood that little inside dogs have different needs. With the importance of making them feel they are still part of a family and a home.

Petite Paws was then created and has been very successful with hundreds of happy dogs and owners. We even have some past clients who have moved cities returning for long stays from as far away as Auckland, Tauranga and Wellington, which is a great compliment!
